i was first asking this question but i knew the answer so kind off stupid. i know but anyway.
the nurse is like the real mother to Juliet because she is the one that actually raised her all her life. to Juliet she is still a nurse but also a friend to conversate with from time to time.
my teacher told us that she is some sort of "comic relief" on the Capulet side. i don't know about that, you could put that is you want but if you don't its not like i would know.

a nurse
She was a nurse in the Crimean War
The Nurse plays her role in Romeo and Juliet. However she does not have a name. This might be because her name does not show significance OR that she is called that, not her name, to signify her service to the Capulets. Hope this helps! :) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Actually, it is thought that her name is Angelica. Lord Capulet supposedly called her that in the play. Not sure what scene/act. He could have been talking to the cook, I thinkk. :p Also, I guess her last name is Capulet. I guess.

Shakespeare's use of blank verse for the Nurse in "Romeo and Juliet" serves to highlight her role as a character who bridges the gap between the higher status of the Montagues and Capulets and the everyday concerns of the common people. By giving her blank verse, he allows her to express both emotional depth and a certain level of sophistication, reflecting her importance in Juliet's life. Furthermore, her speech contrasts with the more formal language of the noble characters, emphasizing the social dynamics at play in the story.
She played a private duty nurse taking care of Leo after his heart attack.
