It depends on what you want to do. Criminal Justice is a major in itself. You can also attend a police academy at a local community college and get a degree + law enforcement training. You can also do Criminology, Justice Studies, Forensics, Psychology, and many other degrees that can relate to the field. Some will require advanced degrees in order to practice.
