There are several scriptures that talk about a fleece before God. Some of these are Judges 6: 1-40 specifically verses 37-39.
In the Bible, Gideon put a fleece before God as a sign of confirmation. He asked God to make the fleece wet with dew while the ground remained dry, and then to make the ground wet with dew while the fleece remained dry, to confirm his calling to lead the Israelites against their enemies.
glory be to god
Gideon tested God with a fleece of wool before answering His call to lead the Israelites. In the Book of Judges in the Bible, Gideon asked God for a sign of dew on the fleece only, and then for it to be dry while the ground around it was wet. God provided both signs to confirm His message to Gideon.
According to Christian Scripture and Christian Belief, NO. God has always been here, from before time and for all time.
There is no scripture that says that God dies.
Yes.
The god Pan had, on the lower half of his body.
There are no references to "putting out a fleece" in the New Testament (per concordance search). You might be thinking about Gideon in the book of Judges 6:36-40 (excerpt copied from biblegateway.com) 36 Gideon said to God, "If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised- 37 look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said." 38 And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew---a bowlful of water. 39 Then Gideon said to God, "Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece. This time make the fleece dry and the ground covered with dew." 40 That night God did so. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew.
The difference between the two is that one man that set the fleece out and tested God did not have that much faith. If you are a true believer, then you will put trust God for anything, and you will not test Him.
Not a god, a mortal man named Jason.
I'm not sure exactly what your question is...but here are a few thoughts:**Genesis 1:4,10, 12, 18, 21, 25 + 31 says God saw his various creations and said they were 'very good'. If the perfect creator says something is 'very good', it's perfect.**Romans 12:1-2 talks about the " perfect will of God"....
The scripture is found in 1John 4:19.
