Hey, I have never been seasick myself (lucky me!!) but my boyfriend often gets sick on boats. What usually works for him is just going up on deck in the fresh air and keeping his eyes on the horizon. He also tried ginger tablets while we were in Asia, which I think you can also get in the UK and USA - not sure how they work, but they seemed to do the job.
