Non-Fiction crime books would generally be found in the non-fiction section in the library and ordered by the author's surname. Of course if they are fictional crime books they would be found in the fiction section.
Reference books include materials such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, bibliographies, style guides, and others.
Novels are typically found in the fiction section of the library.

This section is usually near the front of the library and contains resources that are meant to be used in the library rather than checked out.
