Yes , they do have or how else could they sense the stimuli. there are certain things that even prove them. Mimosa pudica (touch me not) plant it instantly folds its leaves in seconds when touched. how is pollen released or received .plants first release pollen by certain organs or an response or the stigma also makes pollen tube when pollen land on it by special sensors. roots continuously absorb water of course by specific signals.

answ2. Well, plants obviously respond to gravity, and light, and I happen to know they are sensitive to rotation*. They will grow more dense wood in response to persistent stresses. So they do have some response to external stimuli, but mostly we regard them as being in a vegetative state.
