yes I know from experience that hybrid cars are in fact environmentally friendly. I can get up to 45 mpg with my hybrid car, and my friend can get up to 50 mpg with his hybrid. hybrid cars are environmentally friendly because they get more mpg than most cars, require less oil changes than normal cars, they turn off the engine when idling, and because your engine is used less you will not need as many repairs/problems with your engine.
In one person's opinion, hybrid cars are not ugly. In another peson's opinion, they are ugly. It is entirely your opinion whether a hybrid car is ugly or not. I don't know what you mean by ugly but hybrid and electric cars are shaped much more aerodynamically (for reduced air drag and thus better fuel economy) than many other cars. I know some people don't like this shape, but more cars of all types are gradually being designed that way as improving fuel economy becomes a more significant design requirement. This is just considered more important to hybrid and electric cars, so they were designed that way first.
Hybrid cars work by utilizing multiple power train systems to power the car while minimizing fuel consumption. The safer the car is for the environment, the higher is MPG will be.
A some hybrid cars can be plugged into an electric outlet to recharge their batteries B hybrid cars have many special features that save energy and reduce their operating costs C some hybrid cars use regenerative braking which is a system in which energy that is produced when the brakes are applied is fed back to help recharge the batteries D many hybrid cars will switch off the gasoline engine automatically when the car is idling at a stoplight I do know that C is wrong

Owning a hybrid car doesn't mean that you are sacrificing safety. Hybrid cars are just as safe as their gasoline counterparts. All of the airbags, seat belts and anti-lock braking systems are found on the hybrid model just the same. Choose a hybrid car and know that safety had not been compromised and still get all the benefits of one of the most fuel efficient vehicles on the road.
