∙ 13y agoThere are many safe, effective ways to clean the screen of your laptop (which is much like cleaning the screen of your desktop, however, you have to be extra careful not to get anything into the keyboard or openings).
Here are some suggestions:
- Use a damp cloth and wipe the screen without applying real pressure. You can see when you're applying too much pressure if you turn the laptop on - when you see colored waves around your cloth you're pressing too much.

- It's quite easy to get liquids that are made for laptop screens. Buying one of those and using a dry cloth should be fine. Be careful with LCD screens as the cleaning liquid to use for those is completely different to other screens.

∙ 14y agoIt is recommended that you use a soft microfibre cloth and a gentle cleaning solution. If you do not have a cleaning solution available lightly dab your cloth with water. Never ever use any form of a glass cleaner, like windex.
