You should evacuate to higher grounds immediately. Bring along your valuables such as your passports, jewellery, cash etc... You are also advised to bring along a luggage with necessities such as foods, drinks (water), clothes, torchlights etc. just in case your house is destroyed.

∙ 9y agoNothing. In deep ocean water a tsunami is only a few inches to a few feet high and many miles long and so passes without even being noticed. It is only in the shallow water near shore that a tsunami becomes dangerous.

∙ 12y agoWell you know, you run hide and look away. Those are the three do's. Since the water it uprising the salt can be very harmful to the eyes, so make sure you look away. Also try to run, or else... you know you might die :/ well if you are ever in a situation of a great danger, all I can say is good luck bro. Hope this helped :)

∙ 11y agoHead out to sea. Tsunamis are rather strange in that the waves are generally only dangerous when they enter the shallow water near the shore. In deep open water they are barely noticeable.
