buy another one or go to where they fix cellphones
No, you cannot. For that to be possible, your ipod would have to be connected to the internet, which only occurs when your iPod is connected to your computer. Unfortunatly, the iPod now belongs to the thief.
you have to hold down the lock key...if its an ipod touch...but if it is a ipod nano i don know...try to charge it then it should turn on! ☺
If your ipod is locked and you don't remember the code, you have to restart the ipod. If you just want to turn combination lock off then do not create a code.
Step1- go to extras Step2-go to screen lock Step3-go to lock or reset combination
reset to factory conditions is the only option
On a the first nano with movies go to extras, screen lock you should get 2 options lock or reset click reset
There are several things that you can try:Flip the 'Lock' switch on and offHit the 'MENU' and center button at the same time, and hold for several secondsPut your iPod in the chargerPlug your iPod into the computerTHANK YOU SO MUCH THIS REALLY WORKS!!
brute force attack
Yes you can. When you press the home button and the lock screen shows you click it fast another two times and it should come up with your music.
you cant, because apple lock the firmware on the 2nd and 3rd gen nano, sorry Actually 2nd gen is able to get rockbox so there still maybe hope for the the 3rd gen. :)
yes, the "default" code if it asks you to enter your "old code" (and you haven't yet set a code) is simply 0000
if you are referring to an iPod touch, and you have forgotten the passcode, if you plug it into your computer, you must restore the ipod using itunes to remove the lock. the lock was meant to protect your data from theft, so it can not be circumnavigated without a restoration. if your problem lies with an ipod with a click wheel, by simply plugging it into itunes, it should reset the lock screen.
