Make up is all about flattering the skin tone, eye color, and hair color. Here's a few tips:

Step 1: Face and Foundation

Foundation evens out your skin and covers any blemishes. But you have to find one that looks natural. I would recommend Maybelline mineral power liquid foundation.

concealer so save yourself the time and money

If you are really pale or very fair skinned a bronzer may be helpful. Also If you like blush, that would be a nice thing to keep too.

Step 2: Eyes

Always start with eyeliner. It really makes your eyes pop! I would go with a black or brown color for a subtle look and a green or blue for a more exotic look.

Next comes mascara. Choose one that will work with your lashes! Here's what I mean by that;

If you have straight or short eyelashes go with a mascara that says "Curling" or "Volume"

If you have light lashes choose a darkening mascara.

If you have long or thick eyelashes a regular mascara will do, but choose one that has soft bristles like "Neutorgena healthy volume" mascara or "Maybelline great lash" mascara.

Last is eyeshadow. Pick a color you like on your skin tone!

Step 3: Lips

I have found that lip glosses don't give very much color so if you want a sheer natural look go with a pink or peach gloss.

However if you want some serious color go with a lipstick. With a lipstick you can even put a clear gloss on top to make it look like a super highly pigmented gloss.
