use off color clay or grey colored clay. I have to make one of these things, and that is the easiest thing to use, plus, u can add a see-through bottom and put animals there and add a gladiator or something. Trust me, clay is the best, and somehow the fastest. But, also don't forget to add color for the emperor if u r making the ancient model. add green if u r making a modern model.
