It really depends from couple to couple, some people live happily as a couple with over 10 years apart in age, but as far as a teenager dating an adult that is a little different. It is my personal belief that a teenager shouldn't date an adult. A lot of times the older adult is taking advantage of the younger teen and in most states that would be considered statutory rape.
