If you are the sole owner of the property you have the right to tell your inlaws that you do not want them visiting your home. If your relationship is that bad you should ask your spouse to visit with their parents at the parents' own home.If you are the sole owner of the property you have the right to tell your inlaws that you do not want them visiting your home. Answer It's no fun for either sex to have inlaws bugging you about this and that. I learned something a long time ago and while it's not polite and not pleasant, I did tell my inlaws, my own father included in this to bug out of my and my wife's life or don't bother to come knocking at our door they wouldn't be welcome. Of course it went over like lead ballon, but it worked and when they stepped out of line I was there to remind them that my business and my wife's business was ours and not theirs and they should butt out. It worked. Maybe it's time for you and your husband to take a stand and tell both of your inlaws where to get off.
Sounds like a wonderful Wedding Present for the new inlaws. The Phantom of the Opera in Toronto will be perfect and enjoyable.
