Sometimes it's the Emergency brake, sometimes it doesnt go all the way down. I had to pull, it release it, pull it, release it etc....
You might want to ensure that the handbrake is completely released; you might also check the brake fluid level.
on the firewall, if its a standard transmission its the larger of the two
The 1995 Mitsubishi flasher relay switch and the brake light relay switch can be found beneath the dashboard. Both switches will be on the drivers side of the dashboard, near the brake pedal.
try turning the switch off
use brake fluid
look to the left of the brake pedal drivers side under dash
At the end of the dashboard behind a pull off piece of trim. Drivers side.
it will be on the steering coluum almost touching the brake pedal. UNDER the dash. wires plug into it. Also Mitsubishi has recalled this part. Call your dealer or Mitsubishi itself (have the VIN handy).
Probably need to replace the bulb.
I believe the awnser varies on what model you have... I have a 1999 galant GTZ mine has disc ( rotors ) front and back, The rear has the disc drum combo for the parking brake... Hope this helps
