If you and your ex aren't friends, leave it that way. I'm sorry, but it does seem that he/she doesn't want to see you any more. It may hurt them too much, and they may still really like you, so don't try and push them into being friends with you. Be nice to them, though, stay friendly, and someday they'll realize what a great and awesome person you are, and want to be friends with you again. If not, well, you've both moved on, and I'm sure some new person likes you the way you are.
