It's possible, but will not produce a recording with good sound quality. If recording with one microphone you should record guitar and vocals separately and overlap the sounds. A good program for doing this that is free is Audacity. You can record the guitar part and the listen to the recording while you sing to a playback.

There are many recording studios which one could hire out to record music. One should consult the Yellow Pages local to their area, or have a look at the internet to see what type of recording facilities are available near one's home.
They aren't too bad. They're used mostly for a drum or amps but a good dynamic mic should work fine for vocal recording, but if you want great vocal recording, you will want to record with a condenser mic
Probably a camcorder, a computer, or a special recording sound system. Usually recording on a computer has the most benefit because you can save it, burn it to a CD, send it, etc. But I would recommend recording it with a camcorder if you have a really nice one.
