if the number is going down (-3475 4.. 3..) you need an engine service in 3475 miles, but if it's increasing you are 3475 miles passed your last engine service

To remove a starter from a 2004 BMW 325ci, you need to first remove the screws from the top of the motor. You will see a tube looking device about 3 inches from the top, on the left. This needs to be unscrewed, and the wires should come out with it.

The 2004 BMW 325CI came equipped with two 2.5L 4-cylinders (engine codes M54 and M56). Both engines factory require European specification synthetic 5W40 meeting BMW Longlife-04.
