It depends on what things they like, where you live and what you can afford.
Parents will be more please at anything which shows that you have thought of them, rather than expensive gifts.

No, Father Christmas does.
Make your parents a meal and, serve them. Have a trusted adult to help you get the food from a store or from your parents favorite restaurant. Last year for Christmas I gave my parents a meal of shrimp scampi and garlic bread as a side. I added candles and slow music , after the meal they danced and looked at the pictures I took during the "Christmas date". This is a great Christmas gift to your parents to show them that you love them!
By running into their room and jumping on their bed yelling its christmas and give them lots of hugs and kisses unless your parents ar grumpy when they get woken up by people. But anyway thats how i would do it because it gives christmas morning that traditional feeling but dont try this if you arent little kids :D
Home made gifts like Christmas cards and all that stuff
Anybody can!
Ask their parents.
Celebrating and discussing Christmas are two differing things. The reasons for celebrating Christmas may be discussed by the teacher. The child not being allowed to celebrate the season is neither here nor there, unless the teacher goes against the wishes of the parents and encourages the child to celebrate Christmas. A full direction by the parents should be obtained by teacher so that there is no conflict with their wishes. The child's welfare must come first.
