What should you have for dinner?

No one can tell you what to have for dinner, but there are some general guidelines for selecting a nutritious, healthy meal. While you can have meat of some type, it is not necessary for every meal. Meat grown without using hormones and antibiotics is a good choice. Fruits and vegetables should be included in every meal. Selecting ones that are organically grown and fresh, rather than canned, is a good option. Steaming is a good cooking method. Have as many different fruits and vegetables as you want. Add some cottage cheese and a whole-grain bread and you have a great dinner.

Or, you could have my favorite: beans and cornbread, steamed potatoes and a salad full of dark green and red leaf lettuce, green onions, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, walnuts, flax seed meal and whatever other vegetables and salad items I have on hand.
