The structure of a story just means all of the elements that make up the story. You can include any number of elements: plot, characters, theme, conflict, point of view. The main idea is to be able to weave the elements together to make a good story!
You should know.
You structure every story in the same way. Make up the entire story ahead of time so that you know what's going to happen, who the characters are, and where the story is going to take place. Then, write out a short outline of what happens in order -- you can just jot down a few words, or use complete sentences if you want. You have to know how the story is going to play out if you want to structure it so that you can write a good story.
