Whatever the nursing school you want to attend says you should study.
You need to complete the requirements to graduate. High school is not like college where you study one thing.

Civics is the 1950-1960's name for 'current events.' Regardless of the actual name of the course, any junior high or high school course that studies politics and history will be helpful. On a college level, 'political science' and history courses are the most appropriate for a career in politics.
Children are too young to become involved with politics. The question uses the term "enter". Clearly, people under the age of 18 cannot "enter" politics. Teenagers in high school, however, can study lower levels of political science and economics. And of course study the political history of their respective countries.

The most relevant subjects are history, to give you the context in which politics occur, and English, to give you the primary tool by which politics are conducted.
