a horse, of course
You'll need more than just the horse. You'll need your show tack and show clothes. a Grooming kit, horse feed and possibly bedding for a stall, food for yourself, water for the horse, a cell phone, your horses health papers, entry forms, money, and many more things.
Take care & show lot's of love to your horse
Just about any horse can be shown in a horse show. There are even shows for model horses. The horse should be suitable for the type of classes you want to show in, but other than that there really aren't any restrictions unless the show is breed specific.
depending on what breed it is and what the perpose of the horse is, if its a show horse and couple of days before a show so it isn't fluffy, and if its just a non showing horse every 6 months
Pretend it is just practice. Talk to your horse. It'll calm you and the horse down..
No you shouldn't because the horse could step on you
A flash light, horse feed, helmet, and horse tack.
it really depends on the judge and the show, but most are judged on the horse more than the rider. the horse should be alert and interested in the rails, but should not be excited and jump them as if they were a three foot fence.
as long as you love horses, it shouldn't matter. but be in mind that you should be finacally prepared to take care of the horse and you should have enought time to put in with the horse. You should know about the horse's needs
a horse trailer..
you should scream a shove the horse. let the horse know that he is on you. take your thumbs and push in to the horse's shoulder or side. this won't hurt your horse. it will only let him know to get off.
A horse should take between 8 and 16 breaths per minute. Obviously a larger horse would take closer to 8 breaths and a smaller horse or pony may take up to 16.
I dont personaly show in 4-H horse shows i have found that they have a rediculus rules (at lest the ones by me). if you are thinking about showing in a 4-H horse show you should contact your 4-H leader and get a Horse show rule book
