Just shorts/jeans with a shirt something that will be comfortable. Make sure not to wear a dress or skirt so that it wont fly up on the rides. There is really no kind of dress code for a carnival really just wear anything you want(:

∙ 11y agoI live in St. Louis, MO, which has the 2nd largest Mardi Gras parade in the US. Honestly, you can wear anything you want. Mardi Gras is all about having fun and going crazy. I've seen people show up in bikinis and Dr. Seuss hats. However, the traditional colors are green, gold, and purple, and no Mardi Gras outfit is complete without the beads!
