Try to measure the tire pressure on a cold(!) tire and it should be 2 bar for 16' and 17' standard tires.
Ok, you do not say what the OEM 16" tire size is but according to Tirerack it should be 215/60-16. Therefore if the OEM size is 215/60-16 and you want to install a 15" tire you will have to go to a 235/60-15 or 215/65-15.
The question is not the biggest you can mount but should be the biggest you should mount. Original Equipment Size: 225/70-16 is the size tire you should use. Any other size will adversely effect handling, ride, mileage, and your odometer. You may be able to move up to a 235/60-16 tire and still have the same diameter tire. That depends on the brand tire you install. Talk to a trusted tire specialist for advice on any larger size than the OEM size.
Whatever your tire size is. Look at the sidewall of your tire and it should say something like p235 65 16. That is your tire size. Go to a tire shop and.get chains that fit them.
they should be 16 you can check on the tire it will say
OEM size is 225/75-16 Largest tire you should install with modifications is 245/70-16
The size you have is about as cheap as you will get in a 16" tire.
just go to a tire shop. But the normal rim size is 16 and tire can change size.
usually, the tire pressure for your vehicle is located on the inside of your driver side door frame, next to the tire size. sounds like a light truck tire to me so it would probably be around 32-35 psi. Do not go by what the amount is on the tire, that is the max the tire can safely handle.
I have a 96 sierra 1500 ext cab 4WD. my tire size is 265/75/R16. if you have a 16 inch rim your tires should be the same size.
The tire pressure is listed in a label on the door jamb, in the owners manual, or somewhere else on the car.
265 70 16 tire size will fit on 16 inch rims. The first numbers of the range indicate the tire face. The second set of numbers is the tire height. The last set of numbers indicates the rim size.
