Why are the slideshows so slow people don't have time to read so slowly i end up having to quit before reading the all?
Those are badly designed slide shows. A properly designed presentation should not have too much text on the slides. It should be possible to read the text and for the person giving the presentation to give more details through what they say. Alternatively the person who is writing the text should think it out carefully and write things with less words or spread out the text on to more slides.
