In a dress shop.
It doesn't matter.
It is easiest to follow directions on a pattern with pictures. The dress will be inside out, and the sleeve will be inside the dresswith the "wrong" side of the fabric on the inside and the "right" side of the fabric facing the "right" side of the dress. You may have to take off part of your sewing machine body to have space for the small armhole under your presser foot.
On the left side of your dress uniform for the Army. Usually below the other badges if you have room. Navy, Marines, Airforce will wear ribbons of the left side of the dress uniform. Ferguson
* It depends on the designer of the wedding dress. Sometimes the ribbons are criss crossed much like you would do on laces on your sneakers or they may go side to side. The best thing to do is go to the shop you bought your wedding dress at along with your Maid of Honor and have the shopkeeper show the Maid of Honor how to do the ribbon on the back of your dress as that is part of their job.
You could dress up as a person from West Side Story. Or you could google "musicals" on the images and see what the characters look like.
