To open the gas lid on a 1988 Porsche 911, first, ensure the vehicle is in park or neutral. Locate the gas lid release lever, which is typically found on the driver's side, near the footwell or under the dashboard. Pull the lever, and the gas cap should pop open, allowing you to access the fuel filler. If it's stuck, check for any obstructions or debris around the lid.
that kinda yellowish plastic tank with a cap on it ? under the hood on the drivers side?
The Dipstick is located inside the Oil filler and can be accessed by removing the oil filler cap. The Oil Filler is located on the passengers side of the engine compartment next to the Oil filter (on left hand drive cars, on the driver's side for right hand drive). As a point of interest, the 911 SC has a 'dry sump' system. You can only check the oil level properly when the car is on level ground, with engine running at its normal operating temperature.
The low side is the smaller of the two ports and usually has a green cap over it.
you have to get a new hairstyle and to get the police cap go to your cell phone and press 911. bye
Looking forward from the front it would be on left side next the firewall
On a 2004 Ford Explorer : The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap
You will need a VW speedometer (which, considering all the parts that were common between the two makes, should fit where your Porsche speedo once did), a VW speedo cable with the clip for the end and a VW left-side front bearing dust cap. I looked at some pictures of the front driver's side brake assembly from a 1968 Porsche and the bearing area looks like the bearing area on a VW. So...put the VW speedo in, snake the cable down to the driver's side wheel, stick it through the hole in the axle, thread the end of the cable into the hole in the cap, attach the clip and put the cap on. Then hook up the speedo and you've got it.
Driver side, under the hood, near the firewall. Yellow cap.Driver side, under the hood, near the firewall. Yellow cap.
You will have to remove the Distributor Cap and it will be on the left side of the Dist. plate.
Look for drain plug at rear or side of oil pan
