It is recommended a four Tom air-conditioner is needed to cool a 3200 square foot home. The size of the air conditioner is dependent upon several different factors.
rule of thumb is 1 ton per 400-425 sq. ft so you would need a 4 ton 10 seer for your house
tolerance that is needed to keep before the moulding is produced. As part shrinks in size after it is cooled. It depends from plastic to plastic as every plastic has different property.
I am continuing my question because they'll only allow it to be so long. Our house is only 1300 square feet but we live in a cookie cutter development where there are other houses 2600 square feet. So perhaps the contractor ordered one size ducting for all houses. I've been in the crawl space and attic inspecting the ducting for leaks with the fan on and have found none. The furnace does fine in the winter when it's heating though here in Western Washington it doesn't get that cold. I replace the filter about ever 3 months and have installed an attic fan to help out. However the AC never seems to keep up even when its only 75 degrees. Thank you.
on the basis of nominal diameter with tolerances is called nominal size, while required size is called basic size
Because the steam expands as it passes through the turbine. The steam velocity through the turbine is constant from steam chest to exhaust hood (though it changes in each stage). Thus, the space needed for the steam to expand needs to be expanded to correspond with that expansion of the steam.
