How do you take out a battery from a 95 ford econoline van
In a 1998 Ford Windstar : There were 2 engine sizes offered from the factory : A 3.0 liter V6 engine and the 3.8 liter V6 engine
A 1993 Ford Aerostar takes the BCI group size 65 battery which has the terminals / posts ( on TOP of the battery )
If you can put your question in again saying the model year and engine size I will try to find the original size battery that came from the factory
BCI group 65 ( for example Motorcraft BXT - 65 - 650 - 650 CCA )
where is the fuse panel in a 1998 ford van 3500
To remove the battery from a 1998 Ford Econoline 950 1-ton diesel van, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a flat surface. Open the hood and locate the battery; disconnect the negative (-) terminal first to prevent any electrical shorts, followed by the positive (+) terminal. Remove any hold-down brackets securing the battery, then carefully lift the battery out of its tray. Always handle the battery with care, using gloves if necessary, and dispose of it properly.
A 1998 Ford Windstar would use refrigerant 134a
It maybe the battery if it does not click over
According to the 2001 Ford Windstar Owner Guide it came from the factory with either the Motorcraft BXT-65-650 battery or the optional Motorcraft BXT-65- 750 battery ( that's BCI group size 65 and either 650 or 750 cold cranking amps )
