The crankshaft position sensor bolt size isÊdependent upon the type of engine. In most cases the crankshaft position sensor 9/16.
Answerthe camshaft sensor is the distributor but the crankshaft position sensor is located right next to the crankshaft its held on by one bolt

You have to drop the starter on the front bottom driver side of the engine... next to the transmission. The crank sensor is about in the middle of the block. One bolt holds it in.
the crankshaft sensor is above the oil filter on my 00 neon. it has one 10 mm bolt that needs taken out to remove the sensor
Disconnect the negative battery cable.Remove the air cleaner housing.Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor harness connector.Remove the retaining bolt and the crankshaft position sensor.Reverse procedure to reinstall.Are the Crankshaft sensor and the Crank snsor the same?Please let me know?
It is in the timing cover, just behind the balancer. 1 bolt holds it in.
CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR The crankshaft sensor is located on the passengers side of the transmission housing, above the differential housing Crankshaft Position Sensor The bottom of the sensor sits above the drive plate REMOVAL Disconnect electrical connector from crankshaft position sensor. Remove sensor mounting screw. Remove sensor. INSTALLATION Install sensor and push sensor down until contact is made with the transmission case. While holding the sensor in this position, install and tighten the retaining bolt to 12 N·m (105 in. lbs.) torque. Connect electrical connector to crankshaft position sensor.
The crankshaft position sensor is located at the driver's side bell housing. There are two sensors exactly alike being held with an Allen bolt. The one sensor closest to the front of the car is the speed sensor and the one closest to the rear of the car is the crankshaft position sensor. Hope that helps...
rear of engine block, drivers side, midway between top and bottom of block, one 10mm bolt holds it in place
on a 1.8 it is located on the right hand side of the engine . It is the top one plugged into the end. There is only one bolt that holds it in.
The cankshaft postiion sensor is located on the very bottom of the front timing chain cover, just on the pass. side of it. Access it from under the truck. 1 bolt holds it on. It may be hard to see the bolt if there is alot of grime on it.
