2 twin mattresses together would be the equivalent of a king sized bed. so you should get a king sized comforter.
Source: Myself. There's one of these in my house.
A twin XL comforter is 39 x 80 inches. Twin XL comforter and sheets are often needed for dorm room mattresses, which are longer than the typical twin sized bed.
Yes.
Two twin size mattresses can easily be joined using a create-a-king twin doubling system. The create-a-king essentially belts the two twin mattresses securely together and it also has a foam filler for the "crack" between the two mattresses. Now, the two twin mattresses won't be quite as long as a standard king size. Standard king size beds measure approximately 80" long, while standard twin beds measure 75" long. This should really be no problem and you can usually still use king size mattress pads and sheets. You can also use a regular king size metal bed frame for the two twin box springs.
because diffrent companies make diffrent size mattresses or diffrent size bunk beds
yes
A typical twin size mattress is 38" x 75" so a twin comforter will be larger than this by several inches in both length and width. There is variety with different manufacturers, etc. But this is the minimum that a comforter could be to fit on the mattress Comforter sizes vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer, but generally they are about: Twin 68"x 86" to 92" long Full 80"x 90" Full/Queen 88"x 88" Queen 86"x 94" King 110"x 96" Twin and Full sizes in particular vary considerably in length and slightly in width. This may be to accommodate twin XL mattresses or just taller teens and adults in full size beds, or to cut costs on a cheaper blankets.
It will fit but not completely
No. Two twin size mattress will fit a king size bed frame.
A full size comfortable is the size in between twin and queen. The measurement for a full size comforter is between 78 in x 86 in and 86 in x 86 in.
Full size mattresses are about 75 inches long, or 6 feet, 3 inches. They are the same length as twin size mattresses.
Technically, it would fit, but it may not cover enough on the sides. The length of the twin xl is 80'' and the length of the full is 75'' so that part wouldn't be a problem. The full is 15'' wider than the twin xl so you may see some problems there but you can try to see if it fits. It always better to have a bigger sizes though. I know some people that like to buy king size sheets for queen mattresses or buy queen sheets for full/double mattresses. I have a twin and a twin xl and I'm trying to figure out if I should get more or wait. I won't be sleeping on a twin forever. Eventually I'll move and get either a full or a queen. If all else fails you could always use the twin xl comforter to use on the couch for movie night or just to cuddle with.
Depends on what size of bed it's intended for, e.g., twin, full, queen, king.
