If switching the mounts around don't help, then the 88 motor must be from another casting. If you still want to use it you'd have to find a way of either modifying the part that bolts to the block, or move the part that's in the engine bay.

You do not say the make of vehicle. For an Odyssey, which has that size motor, it should be 105,000 miles or 84 months.
Yep. It will be a direct bolt in. You will need to replace trans w/ 2wd trans and get the drive shaft while your at it. Be sure you get the same wheel base or you may find yourself looking for the right driveshaft.
