Wii and Wii U will both work on any size television. To see the detail of the HD output of the Wii U, a larger screen might be useful but people get as much fun from a Wii playing on a 15 inch screen as they do playing on a 50 inch screen. Just connect it to whatever size television you have and enjoy it.
Ts probably more portable than the regular wii, but you still need to connect wired to a tv and stuff.
The Wii U has an internet browser that allows you to view webpages on the TV and on the GamePad.
Yes, you can. It requires the TV screen
You can use any Wii games or Wii U games and software. Wii U games don't work on Wii, however, and the Wii games require the TV screen.
there ok if u want a brocken tv
if u get internet channel u could go on youtube but otherwise there isn't a way 2 watch tv on wiiplus if u have a tv wouldn't u hav cable satelite ect so why would u need 2 watch tv on wii
Certain Wii U games have the ability to display the game on the gamepad only. This allows someone to be playing a game on the Wii U while the TV is being played for something else. Some games will automatically mirror what's displayed on the TV on the gamepad's screen while other games need to be set to display on the gamepad instead. There are also some games that require the use of both the TV and the gamepad.
Yes, the Wii AV components are compatible with the Wii U. You can use the original Wii AV cables to connect the Wii U to a TV, as the two consoles share similar output connections. However, it's important to note that the Wii U also supports HDMI output, which provides a higher quality video and audio experience.
Touch screen (including drag, flick), play wii games, play HD wii u games, multiplay with tv and touch screen in the same room...
No. The Nintendo Wii U is a brand new eighth-generation console. The GamePad tablet that comes with it is the actual controller for it, not the system or a peripheral. It cannot be used on a Wii as it is a different console-it's like trying to use a Wiimote on the GameCube. The Wii U Pro is a controller without the screen.
The Wii U can not play television shows unless they are internet streamed. The Wii does not offer the option to watch TV unless someone does so through it's internet.
The Wii will continue to run, and you'll see the screen you left it on when you turned off your TV. Unlike the Wii U, it does not have a "standby" mode.
