What qualification do you need for cabin crew?

To become cabin crew, airlines usually look for 4 GCSE grades (A*- C) this includes Maths and English. If not GCSE's you must have something equivalent to them.

Very true. But there are also many more requirements... this is a typical example but it does vary between airlines and different countries.

- Minimum 18 years old although some airlines will set a minimum of 21 years old

- 4 GCSE's grade c or above to include English and maths or equivalent to high school

- Good health and eyesight (these will be tested at a medical)

- Must be between 1.58m and 1.90m in height

- Weight should be in proportion to height

- You should have no visible tattoos or piercings

- Must be able to swim 25m

- Must have an eligible passport

- Must have no record of criminal offenses

- Customer service experience of up to 2 years.

Commonly you must know how to smile for a long period of time. Also combined with a warm, hospitable attitude, long term patience, and a calm personality and attitude. Social graces and etiquette is a must, fluency in 2-3 languages I think those are the basics.

it will be help full if you know two diffident languages .

you need to be fairly tall.

you need to know how to swim (I'm guessing quit long distances)

you need to be good under pressure and organised

i remember seeing in the news that there was a uni doing a cabin crew course they had like a airplane in the uni and everything
