When a person loses body fat, the person is losing a little of his/her source of insulation, stored energy, and bone support. Although if one has an excess amount of body fat, it can be deleterious to the health of the person so people tend to try to lose their fat (unless they are trying to become sumo wrestlers, who require a lot of weight). Losing body also allows the body to be more nimble. Also losing body fat can have many psychological effects such as heightened self esteem.
Malphigian tubules are the structures in insects that absorb fluid from the blood in the body sinuses. These tubules are part of the excretory system of insects and are responsible for removing waste and excess solutes from the hemolymph.
Loss of excess water and salt from the body is called dehydration. Dehydration occurs when the body loses more fluids than it takes in, leading to potential health issues such as dry mouth, fatigue, and decreased urine output. It can be caused by factors like excessive sweating, vomiting, diarrhea, or not drinking enough fluids.
