In some parts of Africa, there are two known seasons. The seasons are called the wet season and the dry season. The wet season occurs when the majority of the rain falls within one to two months time.
They are actually two separate continents. Europe is in the upper north, and africa is in the southern parts of the world.
A diffraction grating has multiple slits that diffract light in different directions, creating a more complex interference pattern compared to double slits, which only have two slits and produce a simpler interference pattern.
I am not sure if this is a correct answer to your question, because i am no expert on fowl, but I am not aware of birds ever having gill slits in there formation. Humans have slits that have been misconstrued to be gill slits but those are there to help with the formation of your neck and ears. I imagine that the two cases are related, but, like I said, I am no expert on birds.
Sharks typically have 5 to 7 pairs of gill slits located on the sides of their bodies. These slits are used for obtaining oxygen from the water to breathe.
The property of light responsible for producing dark and bright bands on the screen after passing through two slits is interference. When light waves pass through the two slits and overlap on the screen, they interfere with each other either constructively (bright bands) or destructively (dark bands) based on their relative phase.
The Slits ended in 1982.
