I don't know. You tell me now go to hell ya little f***er
Tristam uses FL Studio 10. It's not just for making dubstep.
Dubstep samples are used in the audio production process when creating Dubstep. You can use any samples, from any genre to create Dubstep. Some of the biggest Dubstep producers record live drumsets. You can hear this in tracks by Noisia and Chase & Status. Check the related link I have added for tutorials and discussion on producing Dubstep.
It's pretty much limitless. I recommend Native Instruments Massive for basses and stuff. The main program you use depends on your preference. I use fl studio 10. But you could also use Reason or Ableton Live.
If you're looking for a cheap and easy to use software, I suggest you to use Dub Turbo. Unlike other beat makers, dub turbo is easy to use, cheaper and more simple. You can use it to make your own beats, remixes, techno and trance music, dubstep and other kinds of electronic music. The good thing about it is that tutorials and training videos will be provided to get you started. It will help you a lot especially if you're a starter.
while pop is more popular, dubstep is made more by every tom, dick and harry. anyone who can use a synthizer can make it, and does.
The Entertainment Software Association is an industry group that tracks computer and video game use.
Well what I use is Ableton live 8.

Dubstep is its own genre of music, so yes, it is apart from techno. The confusion might arise from the use of some of the same instruments such as the synthesizer and keyboard, but beyond that, they have no connection.
I use Fl studio, It works and I get the job done, Though I do believe Ablton live is probably the best for dubstep. But if you get down to the nitty gritty, It doesnt really matter what program you use, the VST plugins are key. Use "native instruments massive" if you really want to get going on producing dubstep. its seriously what every pro uses. Also if you do choose to use FL studio, It comes with a cool vst called Harmor....Tho I think its seriously disorganized. Im no pro at producing dubstep, though im working at it, but i have have learned what programs can do what. So trust me. ablton live with massive as a vst plugin is a killer combo. Both cost around 300$ apeice so i hope you have your wallet ready, but its worth it. both are great programs.
FL Studio. As for one opinion. But many use Logic, Pro Tools, Reason, Abelton Live, Garage Band, Sonar X1 and many others. Logic and Garage Band have large followings.
