Your question is inadequate. If you mean to differentiate the two, you can do a pH test. If pH is below 7, it is acidic and if it is above 7, it is basic.
If you mean to mix an acid and a base, following reaction will occur-
Acid + Base ---> Salt + Water.
An acidic solution has the pH under 7 and a basic solution has the pH over 7.
Acidic solution, pH < 7.0
Hydrochloric acid ( HCl) is produced in the stomach.Gastric acid my dear =) lol
A strong acid. This means it disassociates , all H(+) ions and Cl(-) ions, completely in solution(water).
pH above 7 = a base or alkaline solutionpH below 7 = acid or acidic solution
enzymes
A dissociated acid release hydrogen cations.
None. This solution would not produce an acid.
an acid is something dissolved in water to produce H+ ions.
It is an organic acid produced from carbohydrate.
strong acid
Potassium Acetate (CH3COOK) is a salt of a weak acid (Acetic Acid (CH3COOH)
A strongly basic solution
hydrogen ions and anions.
It will be an aqueous acetic acid solution. normally water is added in order to decrease the concentration of an acid & gives the diluted form of it.
when acid mix with soda, it will produce carbon dioxide
Hydrochloric acid ( HCl) is produced in the stomach.Gastric acid my dear =) lol
Not acid lava, basic magma.
A strongly basic solution
