Screamo is the post-hardcore influenced sub-genre of emo. People listen to different types of music for different reasons. listening to post-hardcore isn't going to make you a "bad" person as the majority of people think. For most, listening to this genre of music helps relieve stress or is used as a coping method. "Screamo" may not sound like any other type of music to the average person but people listen to it for the same reasons anybody would listen to other genres. Its more than screaming or grunting, the lyrics are very meaningful and the artists are really caring. There are no"effects"other than possibly making someone a stronger person and helping them through tough times. Its also just an awesome genre. Go listen to Bring Me The Horizon dude.
I've heard her say in some interviews that she likes making and listening to music, painting, cooking, and anything to express herself.
Nerves! when you think everyone is listening to you, you try not to mess up, making your voice different. It's like when you talk to an elder, you talk in a different, sweeter voice than you would to a friend.
To make music! Or to measure something. Or to perform surgery.

'Listening with one's heart' means understanding one's innermost feelings. That is supposed to help decision-making. I say 'supposed' because for me, listening to my feelings always makes decision-making harder :P Listening to one's heart is not easy task. I always resort to the old wisdom: "If you are not certain about it, the answer is 'no'"
Someone who listens to a song but doesn't understand its meaning because they don't really listen to what the artist is saying
Pseudolistening is when someone pretends to listen and engage in a conversation, but in reality, they are not paying attention or truly comprehending what is being said. It often involves nodding, making brief responses, and maintaining eye contact, giving the illusion of listening when one is not actually focused on the conversation.
Listening refers to the act of physically hearing sounds or words, while understanding involves comprehending and making sense of what is being said or communicated. Listening is a passive process, while understanding requires active engagement and cognitive processing. One can listen without understanding, but understanding cannot occur without effective listening.
Passive listening is listening without making the attempt to solve the talker's problems. Passive listening simply lets the talker know that you are listening, and it allows for that person to vent feelings.
Active listening is showing the person that you are not only hearing what they are saying but that you are also understanding what they are saying. This is done by paraphrasing what they just said to you...be careful doing this because it could come across as you are mimicing them or making fun of themInactive listening is simply listening without discourse and without replay of the other person's thoughts.Whether the communication is one-way or two-way
Listen actively to what they are saying without interrupting. Use positive body language, such as making eye contact and nodding agreement. Avoid making negative or dismissive remarks about their contributions.

Hearing is the act of perceiving sound with our ears, while listening involves actively paying attention and making an effort to understand what is being said. Hearing is a passive process, while listening requires focus and engagement.
Listening is essential for effective communication and building relationships. It shows respect and understanding towards the other person, allows for better collaboration and problem-solving, and helps to avoid misunderstandings. Listening helps to gather important information, perspectives, and insights that can lead to better decision-making and mutual understanding.
An adult can see how well you are listening by your body language. Making eye contact and asking questions show you are paying attention.
