Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone
Well it depends of your point of view. I play a yamaha sax. So i guess it depends on which one you play and how well you play it.
The best saxophone brand is a matter of opinion. My current opinion is a Yamaha or a Conn.
A Yamaha tenor saxophone can be purchased directly from Yamaha which is well-know producer of instruments in the world of music. This type of instrument can also be purchased in stores wherever fine musical instruments are sold.
tenor or Alto
NO! I think you should go with Jupiter or Yamaha.
The best kinds of sax are,Jupiter,Yamaha, and Selmer. These are in my opinion.
The only way to determine the production year is with the serial number.
Most any Yamaha mouthpiece will allow you to play the low notes provided that there are no leaks and the sax is in good adjustment.
The Yamaha YAS-21 saxophone with serial number 017797 was manufactured in 1975. Yamaha typically assigned serial numbers to their instruments sequentially, and the YAS-21 model was produced during the 1970s.
There is no way to chose which saxophone is the best due to the wide range of saxophones. The first step is to chose what type, most people chose an alto saxophone. Then it depends on what type of music you are playing, but if you are looking for an all-around good Alto Saxophone the Yamaha-875EX (Custom) is one of the most popular. However, there are other great saxophones out there, so you'll need to decide which is best for you on your own.
Jupiter only makes instruments for very early beginners. Their instruments should only be used for learning purposes. If you want a good intermediate or pro sax you will need to get a Yamaha or even a selmer saxophone.
