Your own love and peace can influence your personal values. So can your upbringing, schooling, your friends, any organizations you belong to, what you hear, what you read, and what you experience. So any information that you are exposed to can influence your values. If you are a Christian, The Bible, your church, and your friends can influence your values.

We also tend to forget that the multimedia works to "socially engineer " our thinking and values. A clear case in point concerns the gradual acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. As recent as 35 years ago, you would have been hard pressed to find any heterosexual who agreed that homosexuality is "normal" and an acceptable lifestyle. But with the increasing support for homosexuality through the liberal media, society has moved to the place where most people regard it as acceptable -- though most would still not deem it to be natural.
