Parrots live in a variety of different environments, from deserts to rainforests; from bushland to suburban sprawl; from jungles to grasslands. They have numerous adaptations to help them survive in their environments.

It is called Ara Macao. it is an Omnivore. its feathers ressemble a rainbow. They have sharp talons for grabing hold of branches.
The Hyacinth has feathers for show and for flying..etc.
They also have very strong beaks.. they are strong enough to crack open a coconut.
Claws or feet.. helps them grip on to tree branches or there food.
Also hollow bones..almost forgot that one. ( help them fly ).
The scarlet macow has a powerful beak for opening nuts, seeds, and husks, and digging into trees for insects. His long and flexible tongue is used to dig food out of small places. The macow has four toes, 2 facing the front and two facing the back. This not only allows them to pick up their food to eat it, but also allows them to eat without bending down. In the wild jungles this helps protect them from danger because they can be more watchful of their environment. They also have adapted to the dangers of poisonous plants found in the jungles by going to clay licks, similar to people using Pepto Bismol.
cockatoos are per carious creatures and they can do many things, one of those things being that they can blend into anything that surrounds it. They change the amount of blood that circulates in certain areas which makes their feathers "age" or change colors. How ever they can only change once and only choose if they change if they're in grave or immediate danger.
