There are thousands of horse breeds. one breed of horse is the Quarter Horse. or a Clydesdale, Percheron, Palomino, Mustang, Cleveland Bay....ect.
The length of a sea horse varies with the species. On average, a large sea horse is about 4 to about 11 inches in length including the tail.
It's a fish. A close relative of the pipe fish.
The species name of any living organism--including horses--remains the same regardless of sex, age or breed. The species name of the horse including males, females and young (and encompasses all breeds, from Appaloosas to Clydesdales) is Equus ferus caballus.
There are only two species of horse in the world. The species of horse that is commonly domesticated and ridden, Equus caballus, is not endangered at all. In fact, in some parts of America and some parts of Australia, feral horses (mustangs/brumbies) are pest species and have to be culled. Some breeds of domestic horse are endangered because the gene pool is too small or there are not enough enthusiasts determined to breed pure to keep the breed alive. The only truly endangered horse is Przewalski's horse. They cannot be domesticated, and the only domestic specimens are in zoos. They have a different number of chromosomes to the domestic horse and so the offspring, like mules, are generally sterile. They were thought to be extinct but have been rediscovered. Efforts are underway to preserve the last wild population in Mongolia. Przewalski's horse is believed to be similar in type to the first true horses to evolve.

NO
The Arabian horses species is the exact same as all other horse breeds. E.Ferus.
There are 100+ original species but people breeded new species. the above refers to 'breeds' not 'species'! Humans bred different breeds of horse. There is possibly 1 species of wild horse still existing in Outer-Mongolia, but all domestic horses are the 1 species!! (As are dogs, cats, etc)
The Camargue horse is not a separate species, nor are their 'sub-species' of the breed. All modern horse breeds belong to the same species, Equus Caballus
