Spinal nerves (aka mixed spinal nerves) are formed from the dorsal and ventral roots coming out of the spinal cord.
A spinal nerve is made of mixed nerves. They have both sensory and a motor aspect. The roots of sensory fibers are on the dorsal side of the spinal cord.
