The Thames is host to over 100 rowing events every year. The best known are of course the University Boat race, the Henley Regatta and the Royal Regatta. There are also many swimming events including the 14 Km Henley Swim, long distance swims and the Swim Trek. You could spend an entire summer on the Thames and never do the same thing twice.
