In September of 1666, fire broke out in a London bakery. The resulting blaze threatened to destroy the city. It destroyed many buildings but loss of life was limited to as few as five people.

It started in a baker's shop in Pudding Lane when the baker left his bread oven unattended and the bakery caught fire.

in 1666 in the bakery at pudding lane because Thomas Farronor did not put his fire out it spread for 4 days and 5 people died and the bakers maid was the first person to die because she was too scared to climb on the roof and jump.
