Choose Cyndaquil as your starter and evolve him.
Trading is the best way to get all of the starter Pokemon's on SoulSilver.
Gold silver and crystal but you can also get on emerald if you complete the hoenn dex. Also you can choose it as a starter in Soul Silver and Heart Gold
it never explains what happened to it
you have to trade them
You get a dick in your face :)
you should pick Totitile
In Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal/Heart Gold/ Soul Silver you can have it as a starter but otherwise the only way to get it is from trading.

The Sinnoh Starter Pokemon are not available through normal game play. You must trade the Pokemon from another game.
Only as a starter Pokemon from Prof. Elm at the beginning of the game

You can choose the fire-type starter Pokemon, Cyndaquil.

Honestly you can find water Pokemon anywhere? But normally as a starter, or fishing rod.
You don't. You can only get a Hoenn or Kanto starter for extras.
Yes. Receiving a shiny starter Pokemon is completely random, as it is with wild Pokemon, but it is possible to receive one if you are very lucky.
I do not know, but maybe Kris (Crystal) takes it. Kris is the person the who catches the starter Pokemon in the first place.
if you did not choose it as a starter Pokemon you must trade it from another game
go to prof. oak for a kanto starter
Go get a starter first.

Totodile is one of the three starter Pokemon in Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. To get a Totodile in any other Pokemon version you must trade it from Gold or Silver.
no you can not, you can only get ho-oh in Pokemon heart gold or soul silver, or you can get it in global trade.
Yes you can, either using Pal Park or just trading
You can use a Cyndaquil as a starter Pokemon in heart gold, soul silver, gold, silver, crystal and diamond pearl platinum.
Don't listen to that other guy. Heart Gold and soul silver are equal. But to answer your question, If you like lugia better than Ho-oh, get soul silver, and if you like Ho-oh better than Lugia, get heart gold. In my OPINION I like soul silver better.
You need to choose Totodile as your starter pokemon, then train it up to level 30.
you can only get it by choosing chicorita as your starter pokemon. I think that it evolves at around level 18 or 19.
No but you can Transfer Pokemon from Soul-Silver to Pokemon Black.
If you mean the last Johto Starter, then it is impossible to see or get one without trading with a friend who has one.
cyndaquil p.s. Pikachu is NOT a starter. chikorita is.
Dragonite would be better- you can teach it Thunderbolt.
Trade from other Pokemon gold/silver games to get the other starters. No other ways i know of. Also, look out for the new Heart Gold and Soul Silver on the Nintendo DS coming soon!
The only way i know is you have to have 2 ds's then go to the Pokemon center turn off your security a weak Pokemon in soul silver then trade it for leaf green starter hopped i helped you out!!
Spin trades are when you and another person trade eggs. Spin trades can be used to get all starter Pokemon.
you can obtain a water type by getting totodile as your'e starter or you can fish or surf in the water
What you do is train up another pokemon and yours to a high level in the grass
It depends on if you choose cyndaquil for your starter Pokemon in the johto region. If not your rivel (Heart) might have it.
After you defeat Red (the game's Ash), Professor Oak gives you a starter Pokemon from Kanto.
