To get a Prinplup, you would of have to choose a Piplup as your starter Pokemon. Then you would have to evolve it. If you didn't choose Piplup, the only other way is to trade one from another game or through the GTS. (Global Trade Station)

Treeko is for beginners, Mudkip is for people with an intermediate level and Torchic is for more experienced players, it doesn't really matter which you pick, just choose the one you think you like the best.
