Hello! The name of the song is "Sugar Blues." It is available on The Hurricane Sessions CD/DVD collection. Sadly, John Brunious passed on in February of 2008. While he will be very much missed, the current lineup of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band is led by his nephew, Mark Braud. On PHJB's latest recording, New Orleans Preservation, Vol.1, Mark performs a version of Sugar Blues in memory of his uncle John. Often in live performance, he will deliver the "toenails" line. It's a nice shoutout to a legendary trumpet player and missing member of our family. If you're interested in either of these albums, or would like to know more about Preservation Hall or the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, you can visit www.PreservationHall.com. ~Preservation Hall
